Organisers of the Tax Week of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria (CITN) slated for November 11-13, 2025 at the Federal Ministry of Finance Auditorium in Abuja, have stated that the body will use the opportunity of the event to examine The Nigerian Tax Acts 2025.
The theme of the CITN Tax Week is, ‘The Nigeria Tax Acts: Embracing Fiscal Transformation for Sustainable Development’.
A statement from Dr. Benjamin Enamudu, Chairman, CITN Abuja & District Society, indicated that topics to be x-rayed by a distinguished array of panelists would include: ‘Reform to Reality: Critical changes and policy objectives’, ‘Equity & inclusivity: Enhancing tax morale, fair burden-sharing and simplifying compliance’, and ‘Tax incentives: Economic Impact and Global Alignments’.
“Activities of the CITN week will include a Tax Walk, Advocacy and School Quiz, a symposium and a visit to an orphanage,” Enamudu said.
Paper presenters would include Dr Dick Irri, Dr Kehinde Kajesomo and Dr Zaid Abubakar.
Enamudu said that former Edo State governor, Senator Adams Oshiomhole; Michael Ango, Chairman FCT Internal Revenue Service, and Mr. Bayo Adams, Lead Consultant at Periscope Consulting, would be guests of honour at the event.
