The Coalition of Yobe APC Political Organisation (COYAPO) has embarked on a sensitization campaign in Potiskum and Nangere towns, aiming to engage community members and promote civic participation. Led by Director General Babagana Alhaji Modu, alias Bature Goniri the team comprised Board of Trustees members and advisers, including notable figures such as MB Maidoki, Garba Ngelzarma, and Mohammed Alkali Accama.
Other officials are Mohammed MB Mele, Saminu Utai, Hassan Shettima, Dr. Mohammed Goje, Sheriff Almuhajir, Dr. Dauda Sulayman, Ahmadu Lawan, Usman El-wakil Koriyel, Mustapha Karasuwa among others.
During the campaign, the COYAPO team distributed food items and cash to community members in Potiskum town. The gesture was well-received, with both male and female recipients benefiting from the initiative. Additionally, 100 bags of rice and 20 cartons of spaghetti were distributed to social media influencers.
The team proceeded to Nangere town, where they conducted a similar sensitization program. Community members were engaged and enlightened on key issues, and food items and cash were distributed to beneficiaries.
The COYAPO sensitization campaign aims to foster community engagement, promote civic participation, and build relationships with community members. By engaging with the community, COYAPO seeks to understand their needs and concerns, ultimately contributing to the development of Yobe State.
