Designed in 1936 by modernist architect Stanisław Rotberg, this 60-square-meter space is nestled in the southern region of Warsaw’s Powiśle district. The apartment recently underwent a transformation led by @colombe_studio, an interior design practice based in Warsaw.
The abundance of light, courtesy of the apartment’s southern orientation, allowed the team to embrace a darker and more dramatic palette.
Marta Chrapka of Colombe Studio emphasized the choice of teak wood in the apartment’s design. Teak was selected for its practicality and aesthetic appeal, as it is resistant to damage and humidity. Additionally, its warm hue
