A Lagos-based company, Advance Lincon Limited, has petitioned the Lagos State Lands Bureau over a disputed parcel of land in Lekki Peninsula Scheme II, citing competing ownership claims.
In a petition dated February 16, 2026, and submitted through its solicitors, ELISIO Law Office, the company asked the Lands Bureau to review what it described as interference concerning Block 69H, Lekki Peninsula Scheme II.
According to the petition, the land was allocated to Advance Lincon Limited and its title registered in 2014 as No. 49 at page 49 in Volume 2014G. The company stated that it holds a Certificate of Occupancy and a Letter of Allocation in support of its claim.
Corporate records show that Advance Lincon Limited was incorporated in April 1999 as a private company limited by shares.
The company said it sold the property in 2025 to two individuals in a transaction it described as properly documented. The matter reportedly arose when the new owners began steps to take possession and process their title.
The petition stated that one of the purchasers was contacted by an individual who claimed to be acting on behalf of another company said to have an interest in the same property.
Further checks, according to the petition, indicated that the competing claim is linked to Lincoln Advanced Radiology Service Limited, a company incorporated in December 2023 and operating a diagnostic centre in Lekki.
Corporate filings list two directors for the radiology firm.
Advance Lincon Limited maintained that the two companies are separate legal entities and noted that its incorporation and title registration predate the establishment of the radiology company.
The petition also referenced a separate complaint reportedly submitted to law enforcement authorities questioning the company’s authority to sell the land. Advance Lincon Limited denied any wrongdoing, stating that its directors acted within their powers under corporate regulations.
The company has asked the Lagos State Lands Bureau to uphold its records and clarify the status of the title, urging that any administrative decisions regarding the property follow due process.
There is currently no court ruling determining ownership of the disputed land, and the matter remains subject to review by the relevant authorities.
Officials of the Lagos State Government and representatives of the radiology company had not issued public statements on the issue as of the time of filing this report.
