Iwuanyanwuโs death was confirmed in a statement on Thursday by his son, Jide.
The statement read, โThe Iwuanyanwu family of Umuohii Atta, in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State announces the demise of our patriarch, Engr Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu-Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo.
โChief Iwuanyanwu died on Thursday, July 25, 2024, after a brief illness. He was aged 82.
โChief Iwuanyanwu before his death was President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide and President of Owerri Peoples Assembly.โ
Ubah
Ubah was said to have died in a hotel in London, the United Kingdom, on Saturday.
Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu, confirmed Ubahโs death to our correspondent.
He said, โItโs confirmed.โ
Onwenu
Onwenu was said to have died on Tuesday night at the Reddington Hospital in Lagos after slumping at the birthday party of the CEO of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Mrs Stella Okoli.
โShe was taken to Reddington Hospital and she couldnโt make it,โ the eyewitnessย said.
