
Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, has frowned at the continued habouring of Simon Ekpa, leader of the Autopilot, a purported pro-Biafra militia, by the government of Finland despite the massive loss of lives and property allegedly perpetrated by the his foot soldiers in the South East region of the county.
Mbah, who also described Ekpa as a “scammer and common criminal feeding fat on the emotions and sufferings of the Igbo,” stated this at the weekend when he received members of the House of Representatives Committee on National Security and Intelligence that were on an oversight working visit to the state.
He urged the Nigerian federal parliament to help bring pressure to bear on the government of Finland to repatriate the leader of the purported pro-Biafra militia to face justice over his alleged atrocities in the South East.
He said, “As you may also have noticed recently, they have continued to make attempts, particularly, that megalomaniac, who ironically resides with his family peacefully in Finland, a country where the rule of law reigns, but he encourages the rule of anarchy here and to goad some of our youths to their self destruction.
