If not the most stylish, then certainly one of the most eye-catching and unique Olympic uniforms!

Nigerian cyclist Ese Ukpeseraye not only looked incredible in the green and white Nigerian uniform, but she also made history in Paris.

Initially set to compete only in the women’s road race, Ese earned a last-minute entry into the Sprint and Keirin events after Nigeria was offered a spot. Despite not having trained on a velodrome for over a year and riding a borrowed bike from the German track team, she still managed to clock an impressive 11.652 seconds in her 200-meter flying lap.

@eselovina’s performance is a proud and historic moment for Nigeria and a call for greater investment in track cycling. Her journey will hopefully inspire future generations of Nigerian cyclists ????????????
