In recognition of Katsina state active engagement and impressive showcase, the state has emerged first at the 47th Kaduna International Trade Fair 2026 category of states’ participation in all events.
The Katsina State delegation, led by Hon. Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, represented the state throughout the fair, highlighting its economic potential and vibrant exhibits.
The award was presented to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda during the State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House council chambers in Katsina.
The presentation was made by Hon. Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, Commissioner for Commerce, alongside the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Hajiya Aishatu Abdullahi.
Speaking at the presentation, officials lauded Katsina’s dynamic pavilion, which attracted numerous visitors, including potential investors eager to explore opportunities in the state.
They emphasized that the recognition reflects the administration’s continuous efforts to attract investments, boost trade, and showcase Katsina’s rich economic resources.
The Kaduna International Trade Fair provided Katsina a platform to strengthen its national presence and promote its diverse economic opportunities, spanning agriculture, industry, tourism, and commerce.
