ARTIST TALK

IyunOla Sanyaolu is a graduate of the University of Lagos, where she had her B.A in painting from The Department of Creative Arts and was awarded the female visual artist of the year 2018.

Currently working with oil, acrylic and charcoal, she extends the boundaries of texture beyond preconceived notions, incorporating elements of drawing. Her work centers around an enduring exploration of texture and a layered build up of form.

Please join us today from 4-6pm as she joins renowned Journalist and Poet @mswanawana in conversation. Her solo exhibition – How to hold a moonbeam; how do you hold memory?’ runs until November 30th at Rele, Lagos.

We look forward to welcoming you.
