Singer Logos Olori, signed to Davido’s record label, has praised his boss for his work ethic and passion despite his wealth.
Speaking on a podcast, Olori said Davido works with the intensity of someone without money, driven partly by competition with other artists in the industry.
He is extremely passionate about music, Olori noted, and makes music for enjoyment rather than financial need.
Olori revealed that Davido signed him to the label after he wrote the hit song ‘Unavailable’ for him.
Before that, he was living comfortably in Dubai but decided to move to Nigeria to pursue music full time.
“Davido works like he doesn’t have money. I feel like the competition drives him.
He’s very passionate. I don’t think he needs music money; he just does it for fun.”
