Nigerian-born Ghanaian content creator, Emmanuel Kweku Chukwudi has revealed that Mercy Johnson Okojie, has been his role model since childhood.
Emmanuel Kweku Chukwudi, who is fondly called Emmaifeanyi, was born to a father in Delta State and Ghanaian mother, and is unarguably one of the most creative content creators in the African space. His unique contents have been a reward for his huge followership on social media.
He has 308,000 on Instagram and a staggering 10million on TikTok. The journey to fame was extremely challenging for him, including the death of his father in 2018. His mother was not aware he had started content creation in 2020, during the outbreak of COVID-19, until she saw him on a national television.
Emmanuel Kweku Chukwudi is very proud of his roots, which is why he creates relative contents for both Ghanaian and Nigerian audiences. His character of entering the ‘women space’ to be even funnier, because of the nature of female folks, gives him an unparalleled leverage to win anyone over, same way an opposite sex would succinctly portray the male character.
Many Africans have been greatly inspired by their childhood heroes, and Emmaifeanyi is one. Despite living outside Nigeria for years now after his family relocated to Ghana, he remembers how he was immensely influenced by one of Nigeria’s best actors.
“Mercy Johnson Okojie has been My role model since when I was a child,” he said when asked who his role model is in an interview.
Emmanuel Kweku Chukwudi dropped what would completely surprise those who have long followed his career as a content creator. The entertainer revealed that what he does on camera is a direct opposite of his natural self. He further dropped the bombshell, that bread is a junk food, though he appears to sometimes promote it in his skits.
“I am totally different from what I portray online, I am actually a shy person so when I meet some of my fans they get so surprise how I’m able to come up with such comic stuffs online but is shy in reality. One major thing a lot of my fans don’t know about me is, I don’t Like bread as food. In general, I don’t like Junks so I see bread as part of Junk foods. I only use it for my contents because they love seeing me use it,” he said.
Apart from struggling to grow engagements when he started content creation, Emmanuel Kweku Chukwudi suffered cyberbullying. He jokingly said he has won over those who mocked him.
“Talking about the lows through my Journey, I can say for sure a lot of audience out there love to cyber bully content creators just for a reason I can’t tell. I used to get that during my early stage of content creation but not anymore because they had no option than to love me for what I do because I’m obviously creating the content I love to and not harming anyone,” he added.
