Magixx, the Nigerian singer and Mavin Records signee, has revealed his fear of idleness during a recent podcast appearance.
The rising star admitted that he panics most when he finds himself doing nothing.
“I love being productively busy and doing things that will help my life get better,” Magixx shared. “I feel like I’m winning as long as I am doing something, and that’s when I’m mostly at peace. But when I’m at home doing nothing, I panic if I’m not doing something that is adding to my life.”
Magixx also distanced himself from comparison with label mates, Rema and Ayra Starr noting that he isn’t under any form of pressure.
“The only reason why I got here is because I believe in myself. The devil always has a way to make you feel like you’re not doing enough or maybe you’re not as talented as you think so it’s up to you to be smart about it. I feel like I’m going to set myself bigger than what anybody has set.”
