Following the celebration of the much awaited wedding ceremony of Nigerian Superstar David Adeleke and his long-time fiancée Chioma Rowland, social media platforms have been buzzing with excitement from fans and friends of the couple.
With videos from their after-party going viral, Davido and Chioma’s sensational traditional wedding celebration was far from ended.
In a number of videos, Davido could be seen struggling to hold onto the dollar notes that attendees of the event threw at him.
On the dance floor, a large group of Davido’s friends and supporters gathered around him to express him love by dousing him in cash.
Nevertheless, Davido’s well-wishers had to sprinkle him with foreign currencies—especially dollar bills—in response to EFCC directions about misusing the naira.
In viral videos, OBO could be seen battling to protect his money by making sure it would get to him and not get lost in the throng.
One of the widely shared videos showed Davido’s American buddy Gumbo indiscriminately splattering $100 dollars. The groom abruptly stopped dancing to tell his boys to gather the cash. He was heard screaming, ‘Pack the $100 dollars,’ as his friend kept making it rain.
