AC Milan’s striker Alvaro Morata was urgently hospitalized on Thursday, November 7, after a mid-air collision with center-back Strahinja Pavlovic during a training session. Medical staff promptly attended to Morata and transported him to a hospital in Legnano for comprehensive tests and treatment.
Following an MRI scan, doctors confirmed Morata had no immediate serious injuries. Despite this, the medical team decided he should stay under observation as a precautionary step. This measure means Morata will likely miss AC Milan’s upcoming Serie A clash against Cagliari on Saturday, affecting the team’s forward lineup. In his absence, forward Tammy Abraham is expected to play a key role in Milan’s offense.
In a separate development, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, currently on loan to Galatasaray from Napoli, dismissed rumors about an early departure this January. Osimhen, committed to Galatasaray for the season, stated his full focus is on his performance with the Turkish club. “They’re talking about January, but I’m here until the end of the season,” Osimhen clarified in an interview with Nexus Sports. He added, “We’ll discuss my future when the time is right, but for now, Galatasaray has my full commitment.”
