The management of the Air Peace airline has received a new Embraer 190 jet, just as the airline has pledged to add the direct flight from Nigeria to Brazil, as the two nations, during the last visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, made it possible for a bilateral agreement on direct airline services.
Efe Osifo, Air Peace spokesperson, made this known on 26 September 2025 in Lagos.
The 96-seater jet, with registration mark 5N-CER, landed at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at exactly 2.42 p.m. on Friday.
He noted that the airline was also set to welcome additional Embraer units in the coming year.
He said, “We are delighted to receive our second E190 and expect more next year. Fleet expansion is intentional, aligning with our mission to ease air travel.
“The Embraer 190 suits domestic and regional operations, ensuring reliable services while enhancing efficiency and passenger experience.
“The new aircraft reinforces our role in fleet modernisation and regional growth, connecting cities, uniting communities, and contributing to national and continental development.
He added that Air Peace planned to unveil new domestic routes, expand international services, and deepen its regional presence.
