AWKA – The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has approved the replacement of Mr. Chido Obidiegwu hitherto Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS).
Obidiegwu was replaced with Mr. Christopher Osemedua Molokwu, who until his appointment was Programmes Manager at Wazobia FM Onitsha and Head of Sports at Steam Broadcasting Limited (96.9 Cool FM).
Mr. Molokwu who hails from Delta State is expected to bring to bear his wealth of experience from his previous appointments, according to a statement issued by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr.Christian Aburime.
He is a product of the University of Benin, where he earned a degree in English Language and Literature, Mr. Molokwu is a member of the Institute of Disaster Management and Control, as well as an Associate Member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).
Governor Soludo also approved the appointment of Mr. Chuka Ikechukwu Nnabuife as the Managing Director of a newly established Civic and Social Reformation Office.
This appointment is said to be part of Governor Soludo’s commitment to fostering civic responsibility, social reform, and cultural advancement in the state.
Mr. Nnabuife was former Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of defunct Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation and the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of National Light Newspaper among other notable editorial positions.

He holds a Master of Science in Media and Communication from Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, specialising in Media Enterprise; Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Calabar, a Diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism, Abuja, and a Higher National Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu.
