A passionate appeal has gone to Awori in Lagos and Ogun states to unite and sink their differences for the advancement of their areas.
The appeal was made by the Baale of Dopemuland in Agege Local Government Area, Shuaib Afogunlowo, while addressing reporters in his palace recently.
He said the Aworis should embrace oneness in order to achieve everlasting peace and sustainable progress.
He said further that Aworis are very accommodating and Yorubas in general.
Afogunlowo also enjoined Aworis in the Diaspora to join hands with their home counterparts to develop the Aworiland.
He, however, praised the president of Awori Welfare Association Worldwide, Alhaji M.A Obagbaiye on his immense contribution to the association morally.
He also charged the Awori community to participate in partisan politics fully, urging them to attend Awori Day coming up this Saturday, November 2022.
Afogunlowo reminded Awori sons and daughters in Lagos and Ogun States to strengthen their existing cordial relationship with other tribes.
