C H I O M A + P R E Y E
It’s funny how life just catches you by surprise sometimes.
I’ve known Preye’s family since I was young, but never would have imagined that they would one day become my second family and in-laws.
I’m sure many young women can relate that we all have an aunty or two who would jokingly say “ah ah my son will marry you one day” but trust me, it was never something that was ever taken seriously.
Preye and I connected a few years back, but we were in different places in life trying to figure things out for ourselves so we remained distant acquaintances. Life had other plans, though.
We reconnected in 2023 and things began to blossom from a shared faith in God and dreams for the future. Our initial conversation lasted over 3 hours and I was pleasantly surprised at how our experiences seemingly molded us into versions of ourselves that just seemed to flow with one another.
From that encounter we continued to get to know one another over time, and the rest is history!
