BAUCHI – The Bauchi State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has commiserated with the government and people of the state over the death of the Emir of Ningi, Muhammadu Yunusa Danyaya.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman, Rev. Dr. Abraham Damina Dimues, the Christian association stated it received the news of the demise of the Emir with great shock
CAN sympathized with Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, the Emir of Bauchi Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu ,Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers), the Ningi Emirate Council, Ningi and Warji LGAs, and the entire family of the late Emir.
“He was a father to us. He loved Christians with passion. Honestly, a great vacuum has been created. But we all know that our lives on earth are temporary; we have a home in Heaven.”
