The statement partly read, โSensitisation and stakeholdersโ meetings have also been held to prepare for any unforeseen incidents by NEMA and SEMA.
โAppropriate enlightenment jingles are running and being aired on all media outlets and establishments across the state, on flood alerts.
โContinuous visits to likely affected areas to monitor the level of flooding are also being carried out.
It added, โDaily and weekly predictions of rainfall and its likely effects, as reported by the relevant agencies, are being adequately circulated across the nooks and crannies of the state.
