Edo Queens defeated Omnisport Etincelle 1-0 in their final Group B match of the CAF Champions League WAFU B Qualifier on Saturday to progress to the semifinals with maximum points from three matches, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Joy Jerry’s goal was all the Nigerian champions needed to wrap up a clean sweep in group as they march confidently into the next phase.
The Nigerian champions had earlier qualified for the last four after thrashing defending champions, Hasaacas Ladies, 3-0 in the second game on six points and eight goals difference.
