The wife of former Deputy Senate President Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, has returned to Nigeria.
The development was revealed on Wednesday by a reliable source. The source claims that Mrs. Ekweremadu arrived back in Nigeria on Tuesday.
Senator Ekweremadu, the wife and one Dr Obinna Obeta were sentenced to prison by a UK court for their involvement in organ harvesting.
His wife received a six-year sentence, and the former deputy senate president received a 10-year sentence. Enugu State is celebrating Mrs. Ekweremadu’s return, and many people are praying for the Deputy Senate President to return as soon as possible.
