A civic advocacy group, Concerned Professionals for Good Governance (CPGG has congratulated Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, on his 54th birthday, praising his results-oriented leadership style.
In a statement signed by Okechukwu Nwafor, the group said the governor’s approach to governance has drawn attention for its focus on clear targets, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
According to the group, Mbah has sought to redefine governance by prioritizing tangible development across key sectors, including education, infrastructure, and economic expansion.
It highlighted education reform as a major achievement of the administration, particularly the introduction of smart schools and digital learning infrastructure aimed at equipping young people for a rapidly evolving global environment. The group noted that the governor’s policies reflect a commitment to making education both accessible and relevant for national development.
The statement also commended ongoing infrastructure projects across the state, such as road construction, transportation improvements, and urban renewal initiatives. It described these efforts as strategic investments designed to boost economic growth and enhance ease of movement for residents and businesses.
“By treating infrastructure not just as physical projects but as economic enablers, the administration is positioning the state for increased commerce and prosperity,” the group stated.
The group further observed that Mbah has built a reputation as a hands-on leader through regular project inspections and public engagement, a style it said underscores his administration’s focus on delivery.
Reflecting on the governor’s birthday, the group said the occasion provides an opportunity to assess progress while looking ahead to future expectations.
“As Governor Mbah marks his 54th birthday, it is a moment not only to celebrate his personal achievements but also to reflect on the direction of governance in Enugu State and the ambitions that still lie ahead,” the statement added.
The group wished the governor continued strength and success in his leadership journey.
