Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, has said that he has low regard for legendary singer Michael Ugochukwu Stephen.
This remark came after the rapper had made a statement about Verydarkman and his advocacy.
The hip-hop musician revealed in a video released by VDM that, in the early days of his activism with NAFDAC and his battle against unregistered brands, he used to look up to Verydarkman.
Ruggedman cited the well-known Iyabo Ojo case as an example of why he lost respect for the activist when he started looking into people’s personal life.
In response, Verydarkman defended his activities by stating that he only targets people after receiving complaints about their frauds.
He shared a story of how he exposed influencer Ashmusy, who had defrauded a guy of ₦1 million, forcing her to pay him back.
VDM refuted Ruggedman’s claim that, in a previous video, he referred to Iyabo Ojo as a “old retired actress.”
In addition, he declared that he no longer respected any Nigerian celebrities, citing Ruggedman as one among them who had allegedly lost faith in him.
“All these celebrities in Nigeria, I don’t rate you people. I don’t rate you guys,” he stated.
According to the TikToker, a lot of celebrities are scammers that deceive their followers online using Ponzi schemes.
Along with expressing his rage, he brought up Ruggedman’s earlier attack in London and said that Ruggedman ought to have been punished more severely according to his opinion.
VDM concluded by forewarning the musician that no more podcast discussions about him will be allowed. If the artist refused to comply with his demands, he would provide more drama.
