Aare ona kakanfo of Yorubaland Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams has celebrated the impactful life of one of the great amazon in Nigeria, Olori Onikepo Akande (CON) as she turns 80.
Iba Gani Adams in a congratulatory message sent to the media by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Aderemi, described the foremost industrialist as a rare gem and an amazon of hope in Nigeria and Yorubaland in particular.
“I celebrate the life of an amazon and a great woman of virtue and pedigree, Olori Onikepo Akande (CON). God has blessed her to celebrate yet another milestone.
” Olori Akande has been running a good race in a world that is filled with many travails and she has been able to cut a niche for herself in all areas of life.
“She is an epitome of hope. Many of those that had crossed her path attested to her kindness and generosity.
“In Olori Akande, we have a mother, a grand mother and an amazon of hope whose legacies in banking, business and entrepreneur cannot be underestimated.
“She stood tall among her peers, impacting lives in great measure.
“As Olori Akande celebrates this milestone, I pray God to bless her with long life so that she will continue to be such a blessing to humanity”, Iba Gani Adams said.
