JUST IN: The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has expressed interest in extending the Lagos Red Line metro rail from Agbado to Kajola. Currently, the Red Line stops at Agbado, but with this extension, there are plans for further development. This was part of his budget presentation for upcoming projects in 2025.
Additionally, the extension of the Blue Line metro rail from Okokomaiko to Agbara/Lusada, as well as the Purple Line metro rail, are also part of his proposed plans.
NOTE: The Phase 2 of the Lagos Blue Line from Mile 2 to Okokomaiko is ONGOING by Lagos State Government.
