The families of Late Mr. Cletus Amaraegbu Uduji Uwaezuoke of Nduhu, Umuchoke, Amaigbo, Nwangele L.G.A., and Late Ubezuonu Anyanka of Umuezike, Onusa Nkwerre, Nkwerre L.G.A., Imo State, have announced Tuesday, January 7, 2025, as the date for the burial of their beloved matriarch, Late Ezinne Rose Ogonnaya Amaraegbu Uduji Uwaezuoke (née Anyanka).
Born in 1938, Ezinne Rose passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 86.
Her family remembers her as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished member of the community.
In a statement signed by the family, the burial ceremonies will unfold on Monday January 6, 2025:
A Wake/Vigil will hold at Late Mr. Cletus Amaraegbu’s compound in Nduhu, Umuchoke, Amaigbo, Nwangele L.G.A., at 6:00 pm.
While, Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 7:00 am, the body will leave St. Mary’s Joint Hospital, Amaigbo, for a brief stopover at her parental home, Late Ubezuonu Anyanka’s compound in Umuezike, Onusa Nkwerre, Nkwerre L.G.A.
Lying-in-state will take place at her husband’s compound, Late Mr. Cletus Amaraegbu’s residence in Nduhu, Umuchoke, Amaigbo.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Umueze Amaigbo, followed by interment at her husband’s compound.
Thanksgiving Mass will take place on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 9:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Umueze Amaigbo, to conclude the burial rites.
The family extends an invitation to all friends, relatives, and well-wishers to join them in celebrating the life and legacy of Ezinne Rose Ogonnaya Amaraegbu Uduji Uwaezuoke.
