Brazilian attacker and Al Hilal forward Neymar Jr is set to return after a year-long injury.
According to a post obtained from Fabrizio Romano’s X handle on Sunday, Neymar will be part of the Al Hilal squad to play Al Ain tomorrow in the AFC Champions League.
“Every day away from football is a pain for me. I love football. It’s the thing I love the most in my life,” Neymar said.
Recall that the forward suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in his left leg, one of the worst injuries a footballer can endure.
He posted a photo on his official Instagram account celebrating his return to training, accompanied by the caption: “Happy to be back with the group; now it’s all joy.”
