ABUJA โ A businessman, philanthropist and chairman of Excella B Group, Comrade Tega Samson Oliver has donated a remodeled blocks of classroom to Christ City Global Missionary School, Lugbe.
Christ City Global Missionary School, Lugbe is a 100 per cent totally tuition free school for the poorest of the poor, homeless, returned children and dissident children in the society.
The philanthropist remodeled two blocks of more than ten classrooms and equipped them with modern teaching tools, chairs, desks, computers among other school needs.

Oliver further said the idea of remodeling the school to standard level with modern facilities and playground, was a way of giving back to the society as he celebrates his birthday.
He said the school was identified and chosen by one of his staff, who urged him to help the school uplift its status as the founder of the school, Carol Shalom was the only one catering for the school.
Oliver further called on other well to do Nigerians to look inward and see how they can uplift the suffering of the masses by ensuring that they build, remodel or even repair schools in local areas so as to return out of school children back to classrooms.
He said going forward, he would continue to build or remodel two schools in local areas yearly, noting that he would wish to see that Nigeria children have the opportunity of schooling in a conducive environment.

While appreciating the kind gesture, the founder of the school and a retired civil servant, Shalom, said she founded tge school to help take children out of the streets.
She said the school is for all, including Christians, Moslems, Hindu or even those who donโt belong to any religion and the goal is to ensure that the less privileged children have opportunities of going to school free of charge.
She however, noted that one of the challenges of running the school is funding as she personally pay for everything and called on government to assist them with teachers or other basic needs.
