RIXEL Studios, a film production company has announced the date for the global release of its latest movie titled ‘Red Circle’’.
The global proclamation of the film which would commence on June, 6 2025 ,would bring together an ensemble of Nollywood’s finest cast and crew.
A statement signed and made available to the media by the “Red Circle’’ producer, Nora Awolowo,stated the film delivers a gripping narrative that blends suspense, action, and an unfiltered look at power and corruption in modern-day Lagos.
The release therefore reads in parts: “Red Circle” follows investigative journalist Fikayo Holloway (played by Folu Storms) as she unravels a web of secrets tied to a powerful crime syndicate in the Lagos metropolitan area.
“Her investigation leads her to a mysterious businessman who pulls the strings of corruption, wealth, drugs, and even murder in the city, but exposing him comes at a risk that threatens not only her life but the lives of those dear to her.
‘’With stunning cinematography, high-octane action, and a deeply emotional core, Red Circle is poised to be a landmark in Nollywood cinema.’’
Describing the film as a labour of love, Awolowo in the release said: “We have poured everything into creating a cinematic experience that is both thrilling and socially relevant. We can’t wait for audiences to experience Red Circle on the big screen.”
It is interesting to note that the film is directed by Akay Mason, other features in the film include; Bukky Wright, Timini Egbuson, Tobi Bakre, Lateef Adedimeji, Femi Branch, Omowunmi Dada, Mike Afolarin, Ruggedman, Debo Macaroni, and more.
Director of the film, Akay Mason in the release said: “it’s a story about truth, power, and the risks of uncovering secrets that some would kill to keep hidden.
“Viewers should prepare for a visual and psychological treat because Red Circle is as visually stunning as it is emotionally charged.”
