The Vice President, Kashim Shettima on Tuesday afternoon paid a condolence visit on the national Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje over the demise of his mother in law.
Shettima who also lost his mother-in-law in the city, appeared to have cut short his private schedule in the city to commiserate with Dr. Ganduje.
Shettima had arrived Ganduje’s Nasarawa GRA home around 1:55 pm in company of aides, and retinue of well armed security details.
He was recieved by the National Chairman of the ruling party, Abdullahi Abbas, former House Leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the chief of staff to APC national Chairman, Mohammed Garba, Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker, Faizu Alfindiki among several others.
Accessing the multi billion naira residence wasn’t a tea party as security details posted to the residence had to employ human friendly control mechanisms to usher in Nigeria number 2 citizen.
Huge but orderly crowd of loyal party supporters, well wishers had massed at the residence of the Ganduje’s to commiserate with the National Chairman.
While at the residence, the Vice President prayed for the repose of the departed souls , before making his way to the family wing to condole with Ganduje’s wife, Professor Hafsat Ganduje.
Before he left, the vice President acknowledged thunderous cheers of well wishers at Ganduje’s residence beaming smile in appreciation.
