ABUJA – The Honourable Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima GCON, on the occasion of his 58th birthday, celebrated on September 2, 2024.
In a warm message released by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji, Prince Audu lauded Vice President Shettima as a pivotal figure in the actualization of the Renewed Hope Agenda under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
He praised the Vice President’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s economic recovery and stability, highlighting his expertise as an economist and former banker who held prominent executive roles in the banking sector before transitioning into politics.
“Your Excellency, on this special day, I join millions of Nigerians and well-wishers globally to celebrate you on this auspicious occasion of your 58th birthday,” Prince Audu stated. “We commend your remarkable achievements and your unwavering commitment to the development, peace, and progress of our great nation.”
The Minister further emphasized Vice President Shettima’s role as a peacemaker, noting his successful efforts in restoring peace in Borno State, which was once the epicenter of the Boko Haram insurgency during his tenure as governor.
He also highlighted Shettima’s ability to mediate between conflicting political factions and institutions, describing him as a true democrat whose leadership continues to inspire.
