Ado-Ekiti residents now live in fear as unknown gunmen unleashed terror,killing three persons in broad day light .
The victims were shot dead at different locations within the state capital in similar circumstances.
Two persons were gruesomely killed by thses assailants who operate on motorcycles.
A popular POS operator ,Alfa Taofeek was shot dead at his shop located Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, EKSUTH in tbe early hours of Thursday.
Another person yet to be identified rice hawker on wheel barrow was also shot dead at the Oja Bisi market
This killings came barely 48 hours after a ticketing officer was killed in broad daylight at Okesa area of Ado-Ekiti
Reacting to the resurgence of crime in Ekiti , the Spokesman, Ekiti Police command, DSP Sunday Abutu, the command had mobilized there men to the scenes of the crimes.
“The man was found lying down in a pool of his blood and was moved to the general hospital where he was confirmed dead. His body has been deposited in the morgue.
Abutu said: “Right now, the Commissioner of Police has ordered investigation into the incident to ensure that the criminals are arrested and brought to justice”.
