The political atmosphere in Warri South West was charged with renewed enthusiasm this week as the Youth O’Clock Tour of Comrade Hon. Ezekiel Daniel Perela, fondly known as “Aluta,” made a strategic stop in the area, marking another major milestone in his steady build-up towards the 2027 House of Representatives election.
Hon Ezekiel, whose growing influence among young people continues to reshape the local political landscape, was accorded a rousing welcome by the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mr. Bestman Tulu, alongside members of the party’s executive council and a cross-section of grassroots supporters.
In his address, Mr. Tulu commended Ezekiel’s unwavering commitment to youth inclusion in governance, describing his movement as “a timely and necessary awakening of the political consciousness of the next generation.” He reaffirmed the ADC’s firm dedication to internal democracy, fairness and transparency, assuring all aspirants of a level playing field as the party prepares for the 2027 electoral contest.
“The ADC remains a home for credible ideas, disciplined leadership and young people who are ready to redefine politics. We are proud of the energy and vision Comrade Ezekiel is bringing into the system,” Tulu stated.
The interactive engagement provided an opportunity to deepen party cohesion, consolidate grassroots structures and reinforce the ADC’s preparedness for the future. Youth leaders, women groups and community stakeholders who attended the meeting expressed optimism that Ezekiel’s emergence would inject fresh purpose into representation in the federal legislature.
Responding, Comrade Ezekiel thanked the party leadership and the people of Warri South West for their overwhelming support, stressing that his ambition is rooted in service, accountability and the urgent need to amplify the voices of young Nigerians in the corridors of power.
“The future of our nation belongs to the youth, and the time has come for them to move from the sidelines into leadership. Together, we will build a new Nigeria that works for everyone,” he declared.
As the Youth O’Clock Tour continues across the Warri Federal Constituency, political observers note that Ezekiel’s growing popularity and disciplined mobilisation strategy are rapidly positioning him as a formidable contender in the 2027 race, particularly among young voters who now form the largest demographic bloc in the country.
