Coach Daniel Ogunmodede of Remo Stars has said the intention of the Sky Blue is to go to every match and come back victorious.
The coach was speaking after he celebrated his side’s return to the summit of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table.
The win and eventual return to the top of the league table came at the backdrop a 2-0 home win over Southwest rivals, Shooting Stars.
Remo Stars now have 26 points, same as closest rivals, Rivers United, but have scored a goal more even though both teams have a +7 goals difference.
Ogunmodede said; “We’re happy to be back on top of the table,” celebrated the coach.
“We want to go into every game to win. We are happy if our fans are happy and the only way our fans can be happy is if we win.
“Before this win, we had gone three games without a win and without goal.
“Therefore there was tension before this game (vs Shooting Stars).”

On Sunday, Remo Stars will be guests of Niger Tornadoes, who were thrashed 4-1 at Bayelsa United in midweek.
