Yesterday afternoon a student offered the Nsukka white clothed masquerade known as Oriokpa N700 so he could go his way, the oriokpa took the money requested for more, In the process the oriokpa flogged the student and a girl he was with. He confronted the oriokpa as you could see in the 2nd slide and they gathered and flogged him. Height of it all, these banned white cloaked masquerade came to his lodge later and started destroying windows and doors of students.
Remember that months ago they be@T a nurse and it lead to the ban of these masquerades. But for the past one month there has been various sighting of these masquerade. We @unnstudentz have reached out to the Police and reported seeing them around student areas after the ban and till now, nothing has been done about it. They roam through odenigwe every Sunday h@rrasing Unnstudentz all in the name of culture
